A lovely write up of the season, like you I am still trying to get to grips with having optimism. It's not in the nature of being a blues fan and we always feel the wheels will drop off at some point. Yes, there are still areas of the club that can be improved, ie ticketing and catering but they will be resolved. Let's hold on and see where the ride takes us, it's great to be able to be proud to be a blues fan. KRO!
I think deep down, I know we are going to be in the throes of a promotion race but there’s that part of me that doesn’t want to acknowledge it until I’m seeing it.
After decades of mostly dross (nearly 5 for me) it's hard to change the mindset. KRO
Agree with Nicks comments. Look forward to your posts after every match. Love the tactical analysis as watching the game you are so wrapped up in the action. At times I think parts of the fan base have been too arrogant but certainly I would make no apologies for the position our owners put us in to bounce back.
Looking forward to the transfer window as I suspect we will be signing players no one has yet heard of (e.g. Brentford) who go on to be star's. Enjoy your summer break and look forward to your posts again next season.
Brilliant as always, Ryan. Your posts have been an essential part of this great season, and it's good to know I'm not the only one feeling this way. I want to get excited, but I also need to keep my feet on the ground. For now at least.
KRO , FEA , bring on the Championship , thanks Ryan
