Superb, Ryan, many thanks for this. Yes,we were beaten by the better side on the day. Poku is a fine, fine player but Posh as a whole, were excellent.
We were outplayed. It has been an excellent season, but let's hope it doesn't just fade out.
I think a lot of fans were angry afterwards, myself included, simply because we were second best on the 'big' occasion. I spoke to my friend in Cumbria afterwards. A lifelong bluenose who struggles to get to games and watched this one on tv. His advice;"calm down,it's been a brilliant season".
And breathe! I’m old enough to have been at the Leyland Daf Cup and Auto Windscreen Shield finals. Magical moments, sure, but if we’d been offered the choice of the title or the cup at the start of the season, well, we all know what we would have chosen. Some post-Wembley pause for thought before next season might prove positive in the long term.
I read your report every week, always well written and an enjoyable informative read. This, without doubt is the best one yet.
We were second best on the day and Peterborough were the better side. The fact we're all disappointed , shows just how far we have come as a club. Any other season we would just say Typical Blues. This year is different and you're absolutely right to highlight exactly what Chris Davies has achieved. For the first time in many years I'm excited about the future .
Thanks for posting its really appreciated by this old bluenose! KRO
Excellent Summary Ryan. Followed your reports this season. Well I can say that I to had that gut feeling, as did my eldest Son Luke, our other Son Mark was hard to judge he just goes with the flow. Our Grandson Elijah, was full of excitement & hope Bless Him. After supporting The Blues since 1963 Age 7 I really belive we're in the right hands things have improved beyond my wildest dreams. Our Elijah is Happy we are League1 Champions, decided that's much better than winning in his words "the toffee crisp cup". Being there as 3 generations was Fantastic. My closing words "Be strong be happy, be humble, but be gracious". (There's a song in there) 🤣 And KRO To the end of the road. We are all reneging our season tickets again. 'Thank You Blues for a Fantastic Season... with 6 games to go...We are League1 Champions.
Excellent summary although I disagree about Wilhumsson deserving a place in the team. It was a disappointing loss at Wembley but the main prize of promotion was achieved.

So I took his advice.
